As a Linux engineer with a focus on cybersecurity, I monitor and maintain hundreds of Red Hat virtual and physical servers. I oversaw the deployment of Red Hat IdM (FreeIPA) in order to centralize authentication and integrated it with Active Directory. I am in charge of the health of our patching infrastructure (Red Hat Satellite). I am also in charge of the health of a MariaDB Galera database cluster, and support our email & web hosting environments.
Cybersecurity Operations Specialist: August 2017 – January 2019

As a Linux server administrator for the Cybersecurity Operations team, my duties have included maintaining & updating Linux servers used in our department, supporting our Threat Intelligence platform (Threat Quotient), and deploying new Linux VMs for various purposes. I also assist in updating firewall rules on multiple Cisco ASA appliances via ADSM. I use vSphere almost daily to help manage dozens of servers, and I use Wireshark and tcpdump on a semi-regular basis.

Infrastructure Engineer & Technical Support Specialist: February 2011 – January 2013

Duties included providing technical support to staff across the nation by removing viruses, deploying new workstations, troubleshooting any problems that arose on company servers and employee workstations, assisting with software applications including Microsoft Office, managing VoIP phones with SIP trunking providers, and other tasks as needed. Assisted with email migration into Google Enterprise.
